2nd Chapter Of Acts, or Second Chapter Of Acts, was an American Christian vocal trio of siblings, Annie Ward-Herring, Nelly Ward-Greisen, and Matthew Ward.
“Consider The Lilies,” first appeared in the 1985 “Night Light” studio album by the 2nd Chapter Of Acts, was sung live in 1987 by Matthew Ward, Annie Ward-Herring, and Nelly Ward-Greisen in the key of F major (F).
“Mansion Builder,” first appeared in the 1985 “Mansion Builder” studio album by the 2nd Chapter Of Acts, was sung live in 1987 by Annie Ward-Herring, Matthew Ward, and Nelly Ward-Greisen in the key of C sharp major or D flat major (C# | Db).

Annie Ward married Buck Herring, record producer, in February 1969.
In 1970, Annie Ward-Herring, Matthew Ward, and Nelly Ward formed 2nd Chapter Of Acts after the death of their parents.
A Band Called David, a group of musicians, provided instrumental support for 2nd Chapter Of Acts from 1974 until 1988.
Nelly Ward married Steve Greisen, founder of Reel Productions and Exploration Films, on January 28, 1978.
Matthew Ward married Deanne Paul in September 1983.
2nd Chapter of Acts retired as a group, after their last concert at the Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston, Texas, on August 12, 1988.
In 1999, 2nd Chapter Of Acts was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
