Jeff Porcaro, born Jeffrey Thomas Porcaro in Hartford, Connecticut on April 1, 1954, was an American drummer, songwriter, and record producer, best known for being the co-founder and drummer of the rock band Toto.

On April 1, 1954, Jeff Porcaro was born in Hartford, Connecticut.
In 1977, Jeff formed Toto in Los Angeles, California with David Paich.
On August 5, 1992, Jeff Porcaro died of a heart attack shortly after making the “Kingdom Of Desire” album, and was replaced by Simon Phillips.
