Marty Balin, born Martyn Jerel Buchwald in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 30, 1942, was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, bassist, guitarist, and former vocalist of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship.
“Hearts,” first appeared on the 1981 “Balin” studio album, was sung by Marty Balin in the key of D sharp major or E flat major (D# | Eb).
